As a result of your generosity over the last 50 Fridays in 2018, we raised a grand total of $33,600 for four incredible charities – the Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta, Children’s Heart Society, Centre for Autism Services Alberta, and Abbottsfield Youth Project. To celebrate your impact, check out the breakdown of the funds raised below.
Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta

Mission: EDSNA is a charitable organization providing support to individuals dealing with eating disorders* in the province of Alberta.
EDSNA raises awareness about eating disorders in the province.
Vision: No one in Alberta will face an eating disorder alone.
The Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta is not for profit and registered charitable organization that acts as a support hub for Albertans directly and indirectly impacted by eating disorders. EDSNA provides information, guidance, and support to those suffering from eating disorders, their loved ones, healthcare providers, and educators. The organization acts as a representative regional advocate for eating disorders. A large portion of their efforts goes towards administrating professionally-guided support groups in Edmonton, Calgary and online.
Children’s Heart Society

Vision: A world in which children with heart disease and their families achieve an optimal quality of life.
Goals: To work towards the day when no child will die from heart disease
To ensure the best possible care for children suffering from heart disease
To improve the quality of life for children and families living with heart disease
To educate the public about heart disease in children and their many needs
The Children's Heart Society is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to providing support, education, research and awareness for those children affected with congenital and acquired heart disease. Funds raised go towards research into pediatric heart disease. Volunteers donate hundreds of thousands of hours to supporting heart kids & families in the Edmonton area. CHA aims to educate the general public that children do suffer from what most believe to be an adult illness.
Centre for Autism Services Alberta

Mission: Our mission is to provide comprehensive and innovative supports and services to those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders across the lifespan.
Vision: Individuals with autism spectrum disorder lead meaningful, engaged lives.
The Centre for Autism Services Alberta is a Canadian leader in individualized services, early childhood services, therapy, applied research and training, and enrichment programming for children, teens, and young adults with autism and their families. It is the only accredited autism services provider in Alberta. It’s accreditation by CARF International – the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities – assures that The Centre provides the highest standards of care and support.
Abbottsfield Youth Project

Mission: "To provide programs for children ages 6-12 that encourage the development of effective living skills, the pursuit of healthy lifestyle choices and the connection of families to the community."
The Abbottsfield Youth Project offers life-skill development programs for children ages 6 to 12 residing in high-risk Northeast Edmonton communities. Through a learn-through-play environment, the programs aim to advance the participant’s self-esteem and self-worth. The programs encourage the development of effective living skills, healthy lifestyle choices, and connecting families to the community.
